Narasi Sosial (Journal of Social Sciences) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal dedicated to advancing research and academic discourse in the social sciences. Published by Narasi Publishing, the journal provides a forum for researchers, academics, practitioners, and scholars to examine social phenomena, social change, and contemporary issues affecting individuals, communities, institutions, and society.

The name “Narasi Sosial” embodies the idea of menarasikan kehidupan sosial—bringing diverse social experiences, perspectives, interactions, and transformations into scholarly discourse. The journal views society as a dynamic space in which human experiences, institutions, culture, technology, economy, politics, and social relations continuously interact and shape one another.

Narasi Sosial welcomes original research articles, conceptual and theoretical studies, empirical research, comparative studies, case studies, and interdisciplinary analyses addressing contemporary issues in the social sciences. The journal covers, but is not limited to, sociology, social anthropology, political studies, communication, cultural studies, development studies, gender and society, community studies, social inequality, migration, social movements, digital society, youth studies, education and society, and other emerging areas of social science research.

The journal particularly welcomes research that gives voice to diverse social experiences and critically examines social transformation at local, national, regional, and global levels. Contributions that employ interdisciplinary approaches and connect social phenomena with law, public policy, economics, technology, culture, and governance are also encouraged.

Narasi Sosial is published [biannually/twice a year] in [publication months]. The journal accepts manuscripts from Indonesia and abroad. All submitted manuscripts must be original, have not been previously published, and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
